Meet Our Family
Our Story
In 1992 my grandparents (Johnny & Laverne Kennedy) opened a loving and caring kennel for AKC Registered Maltese in the beautiful rolling hills of Southeastern Oklahoma to help supplement their income after my Pa had suffered a stroke. Today and Three Generations in, I (Kendale Whitenton) have had the privilege of learning so much about breeding these beautiful babies and providing them with a tender caring environment. We offer show quality puppies to homes across the United States.

We pride ourselves on raising healthy and happy puppies! It is our goal to raise show quality puppies and find them loving, caring forever homes. I'm proud to be a third-generation dog breeder of AKC Registered Maltese.
Ever heard of Yanush?
It’s a small community near the man made Sardis Lake and gorgeous Potato Hills country. Not too far from us is the Capitol Grounds of the great Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. The term “Yanush“ derives from the Choctaw language and in English translates to “Buffalo“ which can be seen roaming the beautiful pastures.
Want to Know More?
AKC Registered Maltese Puppies
- All our Maltese puppies are full blood and AKC registered.
- At 10 weeks, they may meet their new family and go to their new forever home.
- Our vet will check each pup before delivery.
- All puppies are protected by warranty for the first year against any genetic defect that may appear.
Want to Secure A Pup?
- A deposit of $100 is required to secure a puppy until (a) it is 10 weeks old; or (b) the potential family is prepared to meet.
- PayPal is an acceptable form of pay for the deposit.
- Female puppies are at minimum $1,800 dependent on size and/or season.
- Male puppies are at minimum $1,300 dependent on size and/or season.
- It is our preference to meet the new family in person for delivery. We will NOT ship our puppies.
Preparing our Pup's for their home
Puppies will:
- Be current on shots, dewormed, and microchipped.
- Come with his/her AKC papers, microchip registration, and a health certificate from a licensed vet showing they are in good health + shot record.
AFTER DEPOSIT
We will:
- Plan a time and place to meet.
- You will receive weekly photos of your puppy, so you can watch as they grow.
